Saul’s Station #5 (10/10/22)

Posted by Scott Goldfarb on

September and October have been very exciting months here at Goldfarb & Associates.  First, we hired John Tevis to be our new Procurement Manager.  John is a great guy, and goes by the moniker “The Ever Enthusiastic John Tevis”!  And boy is he ever.  John brings a lot of sales experience, training abilities, enthusiasm and optimism to our team.   We are thrilled that we were able to land him.  In the coming months John will reach out and introduce himself to many of you.  Please take a few minutes to get to know him.  You’ll be glad you did.

In September, Karla, Brant and I traveled to Frankfurt Germany for Automechanika.  This was the first time that we have gone to Automechanika since before the pandemic and the first time that we have gone and not exhibited. This years’ show was very productive for us and we managed to have a fantastic time as well.   Walking a trade show is a very different experience than exhibiting at one.  Honestly, it is much easier.  We had time to sit one-on-one with many of our vendors and customers and really flesh out ideas and plans for the coming year.  Some really good ideas and deals came from the show.  Every night we had wonderful meals with our business friends.  Ironically, the first night we had American Bar food, then a wonderful Italian meal and finally an amazing Sushi dinner after getting soaked in a downpour.  Fortunately, hot sake cures wet clothes.

As I’ve said before, the best business networking happens over a good meal.    We at G & A look forward to the next Automechanika Show as well as Rematec in Amsterdam.

Karla and Kevin just returned from Export Transporte in Puebla Mexico.  Karla is the single best trade show person we have.  She knows everyone and always meets new and interesting people.  This is Kevin's 2nd Mexican trade show this year and he is really becoming a G & A asset in that market.  He has a great depth of knowledge for cores, is super personable and he and Karla work very well together.   Hope you got to see them at the show.

Now for some very exciting Goldfarb & Associates news.  We are very proud and excited to announce a new partnership with DAG Diesel Line srl of Oderzo Italy.  Starting November 1, 2022, Goldfarb & Associates will be the exclusive distributor of DAG Diesel Line products in the USA.

DAG Diesel Line products are completely designed, remanufactured, and packaged in Italy. Adding Goldfarb & Associates as the sole US distributor expands DAG Diesel Line’s global distribution to four continents. This partnership reaffirms Goldfarb’s international reputation as a trusted source for diesel engine parts.

In an effort to reduce supply chain issues throughout the remanufacturing industry, Goldfarb & Associates will now offer the exclusive line of DAG Diesel Line injection pumps (with a heavy emphasis on Bosch  VE pumps) and fuel injectors that fit automotive, light duty, heavy duty, commercial, industrial, and agricultural diesel engines.

So there you have it, G & A is out and about, trying to see as many of you as we can to cement our relationships.  We will be attending AAPEX SEMA in Las Vegas from November 1 to 3, 2022.   Please come see us at the DAG Diesel Line Booth Venetian Expo-Level 2, Booth A4782.  We look forward to discussing our new venture with you.
