One of the main reasons we have been successful here at Goldfarb & Associates, is because of the deep personal relationships we have built over the last 25 years. Just yesterday I was speaking with my old friend Thom Miles from BWTS. I met Thom well over 30 years ago when he was managing Turbo Air in North Carolina. Not sure why, but when he answered the phone, his first remark was “I was just thinking about you!”. That made me feel great. There are many of you that I’ve known before I started Goldfarb & Associates. Networking has been one of the most important lessons I have taught my employees over the years. In fact, Karla, Scott and Brant regularly travel all over the US and to many countries to strengthen existing relationships and to explore new ones. Trade Shows are one of the most effective ways we do this. One location, many people, specific time period. In fact, Karla and Kevin just got back from Automechanika Mexico City, where they had a great show. Coming up, September 13th through the 15th, Karla, Brant and I will be walking the Automechanika Show in Frankfurt Germany. If you plan on attending or exhibiting, please let us know so that we can get together for a drink. My treat!

An even better way to get to know you, our vendors and customers, is for us to go on the road and visit your shops. We love to do that as well! I have traveled all over the country visiting most of the shops in ADS over the last 25 years and have learned so much more in person than just over the phone or by email. Nothing bonds people better than breaking bread and enjoying a good meal together. More often than not, a visit leads to us selling more products and even more likely, Goldfarb & Associates buying up your cores that have piled up over the years. Luckily for us, we have vendors and customers everywhere. Cool places to visit in the summer and warm places to visit in the winter.
