Saul’s Station #1 (June 2022) No pressure, just my first writing assignment since Mrs. Williamson’s 10th grade English class at B-CC High School. Thankfully, there are no grades. Deep breaths. Here we go… Welcome to Saul’s Station! This is our new platform to talk to all of you in our diesel world about what is going on at Goldfarb & Associates, the diesel core market, and anything else that we find interesting or important. I hope you find the content interesting, and I really encourage any feedback from you. Good...

Saul’s Station #5 (10/10/22) September and October have been very exciting months here at Goldfarb & Associates. First, we hired John Tevis to be our new Procurement Manager. John is a great guy, and goes by the moniker “The Ever Enthusiastic John Tevis”! And boy is he ever. John brings a lot of sales experience, training abilities, enthusiasm and optimism to our team. We are thrilled that we were able to land him. In the coming months John will reach out and introduce himself to many of you. Please take a fe...

Saul’s Station #4 (9/15/22) Today, I will try the impossible- try and explain why two of my interests are related. At first, you wouldn’t think they are. Gardening and inventory control are two areas that I spend a lot of time thinking about and working to improve. Gardening is a hobby. Inventory control may be the most important thing we do at Goldfarb & Associates. Four years ago, my Mom asked me to pick up a few tomato plants. She was 84 at the time and still an avid gardener. Good for her. When I went to get t...

Saul’s Station #2 (7/7/22) Well I was wrong. In the last edition of Saul’s Station I stated that G & A had “.... the best team we have had in the 24 years that we have been in business”. I was wrong. I was wrong because we added two new additions to our crew. First and most importantly , our son Scott and his wife Lindsay had a beautiful baby girl on July 4. Welcome to the Goldfarb family Hallie Madeline. Seven pounds, 6 ounces of amazing. She will likely stage her own coup on Scott in 20 or 30 years. In a...

Saul’s Station #3 (8/1/22) One of the main reasons we have been successful here at Goldfarb & Associates, is because of the deep personal relationships we have built over the last 25 years. Just yesterday I was speaking with my old friend Thom Miles from BWTS. I met Thom well over 30 years ago when he was managing Turbo Air in North Carolina. Not sure why, but when he answered the phone, his first remark was “I was just thinking about you!”. That made me feel great. There are many of you that I’ve known before...

Saul’s Station #6 (11/7/22) Last week was a fantastic week. First, Monday was Halloween. Which means a few great costumes and way too much candy. You be the judges as to the best costumes. Note-compliments of my grandkids “could” result in G & A discounts…... Then, it was off to Las Vegas for the AAPEX/SEMA show. We had a terrific time. This year we exhibited with our friends from Diesel Line (DAG) in Ordezo, Italy to promote their line of remanufactured injection pumps and fuel injectors to the US market. ...

Saul’s Station #7 (12/13/22)
Well it’s that time of year again. The holidays are back and it’s time to appreciate all the wonderful people that help you throughout the year. We here at Goldfarb & Associates are so lucky to have a fantastic team surrounding us. Without any hyperbole, this is the best team we have ever had. And I believe it shows in how we treat our customers, our vendors and our fellow employees. It truly is like a family. We have learned that occasionally, we have to stop and say thank you to o...
